I am a better CPA for having connected and volunteered with our Association early in my career. I have learned so much through my experiences with SCACPA on committees, task forces and more. Common Questions
A: It depends! Some opportunities are one-and-done, such as sharing a LinkedIn post, providing a testimonial, or responding to a survey. Other opportunities include working with a small team to coordinate a student event — a slightly more committed role, but for a short period. There are also sustained opportunities, such as serving on a committee or a Board.
No matter how much time you have, there’s a way you can make meaningful contributions.
