Use of Our Services 

SC.CPA provides professional resources, education, advocacy, events, and communications for CPAs and related audiences. You agree to use our services for lawful purposes only and in a manner consistent with our mission and values. 

Communications and Consent 

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications from SC.CPA related to membership, programs, events, and association updates. 

SMS Text Messaging 

If you opt in to receive SMS text messages:

  • Message and data rates may apply  
  • You may opt out at any time by replying STOP

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of membership or event registration. 

Acceptable Use 

When using SC.CPA’s website, services, SC.CPA Connect, or submitting classified content, you agree not to:

  • Infringe on the rights, privacy, or intellectual property of others 
  • Post or submit content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, or defamatory 
  • Upload malicious code or attempt unauthorized access 
  • Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data 

SC.CPA may restrict access, remove content, or suspend accounts that violate these standards. 

User‑Submitted Content 

By submitting content to SC.CPA, including classified listings or posts within SC.CPA Connect, you grant SC.CPA a non‑exclusive right to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with association services. 

You represent that you have the right to submit such content and that it does not violate the rights of any third party. SC.CPA may remove or modify content at its discretion. 

Intellectual Property 

All content on our website and in our communications—including text, graphics, logos, publications, and digital materials—is the property of SC.CPA or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission. 

Third‑Party Links 

Our website or messages may include links to third‑party websites. SC.CPA is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of those sites.
