AI can save time, but only when the prompt is clear enough to produce useful work. This post-session toolkit gives CPAs a practical framework for turning vague AI requests into structured, review-ready drafts. Participants will learn how to use the CLEAR+R method to define context, audience, format, and guardrails before asking AI to create, summarize, review, or refine work. The result is a repeatable prompting process that supports clearer communication, reduced rework, and stronger professional review habits.

Objectives

• Identify the six CLEAR+R prompt components and explain how each improves AI output quality. 
• Build a complete prompt brief for a real CPA task using context, lens, end goal, audience, result format, and rules. 
• Apply must and must-not rules to reduce unsupported assumptions, invented facts, and professional review risk. 
• Use refinement prompts to improve, critique, and triage AI-generated drafts before relying on them. 
• Convert successful prompts into reusable templates for recurring CPA communication, delegation, and review tasks.
