Tax Conformity Update: Where Things Stand—and What Comes Next

Last week conformity was added as an amendment to House Bill 3368. Today, March 11, the bill passed the South Carolina House of Representatives. The legislation now sits with the Senate Finance Committee for consideration.

The amended bill calls for full conformity with provisions outlined in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.

As House Bill 3368 continues through the legislative process, continue following the South Carolina Department of Revenue’s guidance, as outlined in its January 30 Information Letter.
