Genuine Learning Blog: Derivative Scope Exception

| , ,

GLS is celebrating their 300th blog! This one is a very exciting one! The FASB has issued a proposed ASU, DERIVATIVES SCOPE REFINEMENTS AND SCOPE CLARIFICATION FOR A SHARE-BASED PAYMENT FROM A CUSTOMER IN A REVENUE CONTRACT, which will provide additional scope exceptions to derivative accounting and address diversity in practice with respect to revenue recognition. Comments are due October 21st

SCACPA is excited to partner with Galasso Learning Solutions and the Genuine Learning Blog for real-time A&A updates and answers for SCACPA members.
