Spring Splash Presents: Unemployment Insurance Updates with Paul Famolari

|

Among the many leading experts attending the 2024 Spring Splash is Paul Famolari, the Assistant Director for Unemployment Insurance for the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce. Paul has presented several times to SCACPA members, especially as an authority for the Statewide Education and Workforce Development Act. SCACPA is proud of welcome Paul to Spring Splash to speak further about this topic.

Of his session, Paul says:

The Statewide Education and Workforce Development Act established new requirements for employers to provide additional data to the Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW). DEW’s Assistant Executive Director for Unemployment Insurance (UI) will discuss these changes, explain how they will benefit employers, and provide resources to assist employers in complying with these new reporting requirements. The presentation will also cover UI updates from the current legislative session and provide some tips on successfully navigating the UI system in South Carolina.

Secure your spot at this year’s Spring Splash Accounting Conference Spring Splash (May 16-17) to explore the full schedule of events and speakers. Sessions fill up quickly, so register early to ensure access to your preferences. We look forward to welcoming you to Greenville soon!
