SCDOR Launches Enhanced Online Business Tax Application

| ,

The South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR) has launched an enhanced online Business Tax Application to simplify the registration process for new businesses in the state. The updated application features new user-friendly tools, intuitive navigation, and an integrated help center to guide applicants through registration.

First-time business applicants will create an account through MyDORWAY, SCDOR’s free online tax portal, as part of the application process. SCDOR encourages new businesses to use the enhanced online application to register quickly and efficiently.

The new process also allows businesses to apply and manage multiple tax accounts and licenses simultaneously, saving time and effort.

To help your clients register a new business with SCDOR or add tax accounts to their existing business, follow the steps detailed in the full release from SCDOR here.
