Position/Opportunity:
Pro Bono CPA / Financial Advisory Support for a Growing Nonprofit Organization
Organization Overview:
The Williams Education Foundation (WEF) is a South Carolina-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering educators and enriching lives through educator recognition, scholarships, leadership development, and community engagement initiatives.
Primary Areas of Support Requested:
- Assistance with preparing and/or reviewing audit-ready financial statements
- Guidance on nonprofit financial reporting best practices
- Recommendations related to internal controls and financial governance
- Support with financial statement organization for grants and sponsorship opportunities
- General nonprofit accounting advisory support
Preferred Engagement:
Ideally, we would love to identify a CPA who is willing to support WEF on a quarterly or biannual advisory basis as the organization continues to grow and expand its impact.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA license or nonprofit accounting experience
- Familiarity with 501(c)(3) organizations and GAAP nonprofit reporting
- Experience supporting audits, financial reviews, or nonprofit compliance
- Passion for community impact and educational initiatives
Estimated Time Commitment:
Flexible and collaborative, based on availability and organizational needs.
