Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer (CPA preferred) who is detail-oriented, dependable, and values meaningful client relationships. This role is ideal for someone who wants to contribute their expertise in a collaborative environment while maintaining a work-life balance. We have a full-time position available but will also consider part-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual, trust, partnership, and corporate tax returns
- Conduct tax planning and research for clients
- Assist clients with IRS and state correspondence
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation, assist with payroll filings as needed
- Communicate with clients to provide outstanding service and proactive advice
Qualifications:
- Active CPA license or EA designation preferred (or substantial tax preparation experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
- A commitment to integrity, teamwork, and client service
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
