From the South Carolina Board of Accountancy: Important Deadline Reminder

The following was sent from the South Carolina Board of Accountancy in an email to licensees December 10, 2025:

Upcoming Deadlines for completing CPE, Renewing your license, and Reporting CPE

December 31, 2025 – Deadline to complete All Required CPE

Licensees must complete 40 hours of CPE, including 2 hours of ethics, by the end of the 2025 calendar year. All certificates of completion for the 2025 calendar year must reflect a date between January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025.

Beginning with the 2025 calendar year, all licensees are required to submit CPE documentation through the NASBA CPE Audit Service. 

February 1, 2026 – Deadline to Renew Your License and Report 2025 CPE

Licensees must renew their license and report all 2025 CPE in the NASBA CPE Audit Service by this date. You are strongly encouraged to begin entering your CPE hours in the system before year-end.

All CPE courses must be entered individually, and all certificates must reflect dates within the 2025 calendar year.

Compliance Reminder

To qualify for renewal, all licensees must report 40 hours of CPE, including 2 hours of ethics per calendar year, via the NASBA CPE Audit ServiceOnce all CPE hours have been entered, the NASBA CPE Audit Service will calculate your CPE compliance.

Failure to complete your CPE requirements within the calendar year (January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025) or failure to report your CPE via the NASBA CPE Audit Service by February 1, 2026, may result in disciplinary action by the Board.
