Beginning this year, all South Carolina licensees are required to report their continuing professional education using the NASBA CPE Audit Service. Your documentation must be submitted by February 1, 2026. The South Carolina Board of Accountancy will access your records directly through the NASBA system, so there’s no need to send additional documentation unless you’re notified of a deficiency or selected for an education audit.
Step 1: Download Your SCACPA Course Transcript
- Visit sc.cpa and navigate to the Educate menu tab.
- Select Transcript from the dropdown.
- Toggle the Output Type dropdown and choose Download NASBA Report.
- Click Generate Transcript.
- This will download a CSV file to your computer, typically saved in your browser’s default download location.
Note: This transcript will only show courses you’ve taken through SCACPA. If you earned credits from other sources, you’ll need to provide those to NASBA separately or add them to the CSV file using the same format.
Step 2: Upload the File to NASBA
- Visit okta.nasba.org and sign in with your email and password.
- After logging in, click NASBA CPE Audit Service on the dashboard.
- Select your South Carolina license record.
- Click the Add Credit dropdown and choose Upload Credits.
- Click Choose File, select the NASBA Report you downloaded from SCACPA, then click Confirm Upload.
Your pending education credit records will appear in a blue box at the top of the page. Click Save All, press Yes in the confirmation box, then press OK. Your course information will load into the system.
At the top of the screen, you’ll see a Calculating Compliance indicator. If everything checks out, it will turn green and display Compliance Calculated. You can click your license profile to view your credits and compliance status.
