The Finance Manager, under the general direction of the Finance Director, supervises and coordinates the work of the staff responsible for day-to-day accounting functions to include accounts payable, procurement, fixed assets, receipts, cash management, and payroll procedures. The Finance Manager also provides strategic oversight to accounting processes, develops policies and procedures, and develops workflows and process improvement. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles for governmental entities and a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement of accounting operations, internal controls, policies, and procedures.
