Updated on October 31, 2024

We are pleased to share that the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) has extended Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting deadlines for certain businesses in South Carolina impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Reporting companies with filing deadlines between September 22, 2024, and December 21, 20204, and have their principal place of business in South Carolina (or other areas designated by FEMA as qualifying for tax filing relief) qualify for this reporting extension. The filing deadline for qualifying companies is extended by six months.

For more details, please see FinCEN’s official release here: FinCEN BOI Extension Notice
