SCACPA COO/CFO Appointed to First Steps Board of Trustees

SCACPA COO/CFO Jacque Curtin, CPA, CGMA, was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees for the South Carolina First Steps to School Readiness. Senator Thomas Alexander, President of the Senate, appointed Ms. Curtin to represent the business community.

The mission of South Carolina First Steps is to work collaboratively to ensure that all children start school ready to reach their highest potential with engaged support from their parents, caregivers, and communities.

“Jacque’s experience as a CPA in the nonprofit sector makes her the ideal addition to this Board,” said Chris Jenkins, SCACPA CEO. “CPAs are critical and analytical thinkers who are committed to serving their communities. Jacque will be an asset to First Steps and the families they serve.”

Ms. Curtin brings more than 25 years of accounting and finance experience to the Board of Trustees. She will serve through September 19, 2023.
